William Tenn

William Tenn (aka Philip Klass) died a couple of days ago, aged 89.

He wrote mainly back in the 50s & 60s (although he started in the late 40s) and wasn’t particularly prolific, but he did write some good stuff!
I think the only novel of his I read was Of Men and Monsters, about giant aliens having invaded, and the human survivors living in the cracks and corners of their giant buildings. Very good, and I still have my copy!

He also wrote various short stories I know I’ve read, but don’t recall the details of! Bernie the Faust was one; if I still have the anthology I believe it was in, I’ll probably read it this evening…
