Bestiary Website

A Bestiary of Authors – Exhibition & Website

From Aldiss to Banks and beyond! To celebrate the shop’s 10th anniversary Madeleine Shepherd is exhibiting a selection of photos and prints of famous (and a few not quite so famous) authors she has photographed over the past ten years. The Exhibition will run until 1st September – Venue number 326!

And it’s also viewable on-line!
The website address is Bestiary of Authors, where a selection of the full exhibition is available for purchase!

To avoid having to pick an sf author, and because it’s a great picture, here’s Yann Martell posing beside a real (stuffed) tiger!

Go Green!

A wonderful start to the day this morning; get here ready to do various things that need done, only to find some large green graffiti sprayed on the front door.

Oh, well, 3/4 hour later it’s mostly scrubbed off, except for a greenish tinge where it was sprayed onto a section I had already had to repaint and had used a different type of paint, I guess…

The exhibition looks good but some better labelling might help the more casual viewer, and the Fringe Venue Sign needs displayed in the window…
